Happy Monday! Here are a few thoughts bouncing around in my head after a week of reading, podcasts and other continuing ed. Enjoy!

  1. I can’t think of a simpler tool for developing total body power or converting the strength that athletes gain through strength training into usable power then the med ball – and med balls are extremely safe and very user friendly.
  2. Sport is about acceleration, not speed. How rapidly an athlete accelerates will play a large role in their success in team sports. Sprint more.
  3. Athletes don’t buy into coaching, they buy into coaches.
