I’ve touched on this before, but we go out of our way to perform as much shoulder friendly upper body work as we can. We know we are in the minority, but we don’t bench with a barbell much. We have never performed an overhead press with a barbell and probably never will.
What do we do? We Landmine press instead of overhead pressing with a barbell or dumbbells. We DB Bench press or DB incline press instead of using a barbell. We do a fair share of push ups. We perform 1DB and alternating DB bench work, both flat and incline to get a little more shoulder stability while pressing. We pull a ton.
