Monday Musings

Happy Monday after a beautiful weekend here in the northeast. Here are a few thoughts bouncing around in my head after a week of reading, podcasts, cruising social media and any other continuing ed. Enjoy!hello monday

  1. The world of strength and conditioning and the health/performance of the athletes we work with would be greatly enhanced if coaches would stop chasing big weights and start chasing perfect form.
  2. Once you stop learning, you start dying. – Albert Einstein
  3. Piggybacking off the previous thought, movement literacy should be the foundation of everything we do. Once that is in place other qualities (strength/power) will take off – but you have to learn to crawl before you walk and walk before you run.
  4. I think we’ve had it backwards all along…speed improves everything else, not everything else improves speed. – Devan McConnell
