Tempo Split Squats

As most people know we spend a decent amount of time performing both eccentric and isometric because of the injury prevention aspects that come with those toe of muscle contractions. But, another big reason why we perform our fair share of tempo work that doesn’t get talked about as much ➡️to stimulate some aerobic capacity.

Here we are simply performing a RFE Split Squat (3 sets of 5) with a 2-0-2 (2 second eccentric and 2 second concentric) tempo with a much lighter load then we would use compared to a more max effort RFE Split Squat.
