Perfecting the Push Up

1️⃣I think push ups are completely unde-utilized by most trainers and/or coaches.

2️⃣Everyone thinks they perform a perfect push up, yet most people don’t do a great job with them.

Some things to consider;

Zero lumbar extension ➡️think a moving front plank

Straight line from the shoulders down to the ankles at all times

Chin tucked

Hands a little bit outside of shoulder width

A little bit of wiggle room between the arms and the body, probably somewhere around 45 degrees or maybe slightly less.

If you aren’t hitting all these, you aren’t performing push ups correctly.
