Monday Musings

Happy Monday!

Here are a few thoughts bouncing around in my head after a week of reading, podcasts, cruising social media and any other continuing ed.

hello monday

  1. People committed to success want to be surrounded by other people committed to success. The same can be said about people committed to the status quo. Be careful and choose wisely when deciding who you surround yourself with.
  2. Over-coaching is just as bad as under-coaching. – Jason Rice (@move_ence on Twitter)
  3. Many of us can agree that the basics are still the most important and foundation of any good strength program. Because of that, my goal as a coach is to continually make the basics as exciting as I can to keep people enthused when it comes to training.
  4. Great coaches are like gardeners…gardeners don’t grow flowers…gardeners create an environment for flowers to grow. – Anthony Donskov (@DonskovSC on Twitter)
