Good Training = Good Shoulder Health?

I get a lot of questions regarding shoulder health. The funny thing is, we don’t perform a lot of “shoulder rehab” at any point during the year. Yes, we do some external rotation exercises and some movements to promote scapular upward rotation, but the vast majority of our shoulder care comes from what I would consider good training. Lots of general strength work. Lots of Rowing. Lots of scap free pressing. Deadlifting for grip and upper back strength. Carries for grip and core strength. Anti-Extension, anti-rotation and anti-lateral flexion work for a stable core to work off of. Good training = shoulder health.
