Here are a few thoughts bouncing around in my head after a week of reading, podcasts, cruising social media and any other continuing ed.

  1. Life hack: Do something this weekend to actually re-charge your battery for the upcoming week, like actually getting out and enjoying nature in some way.
  2. A great relationship trumps everything else in coaching. Once you realize that coaching is about relationships more then anything else, your coaching will take a huge step in the positive direction.
  3. The only performance that matters for an athlete is game day performance. Yes, there are other athletic qualities that we’d like to see, but nothing matters as much as how the athlete actually plays their sport.
