Why do we use med balls so frequently?
✅ Improved ability to transfer energy/power throughout the body
✅ Ability to improve power in various planes
✅ Improve sport specific power
✅ Improve anterior core power
✅ Improve/teach the shoulder to decelerate (Shot Put, Overhead Throws)
✅ Probably a lot of other things that I didn’t think of 🤷♂️
That being said, med balls are only a portion of our power training and how we develop more resilient and powerful athletes.
