After posting the Hang Clean video with @unhwhockey 10-14 ago, someone reached out asking why we always Clean from the hang❓
- It’s a more specific position for the sport of 🏒
- It’s a little less technical to teach
- Keeps the athletes out of deep hip flexion, a position that doesn’t always work well with 🏒 populations
- I think we get the same benefits from the hang as we would the floor, with a shorter learning curve and a more user friendly position ➖I’m not sure there are any additional benefits to pulling from the floor when we are focusing on sport/athletic development 🤷♂️
