How Do We Program Our Upper Body Pulling Contrast Work?

After posting a couple videos of contrast training I got a decent amount of messages on what some of our pairings are. Here are a handful of the pairings we’ve used the past few years with our upper body pulling, where most of our strength work is in the 3-5 rep range and most of the following power work is in the 8-10 rep range.

  • Strap Row ➡️ Med Ball Overhead Throw
  • Strap Row ➡️ Med Ball Overhead Slam
  • Chin Up ➡️ Med Ball Overhead Slam
  • Bat Wings (and variations) ➡️ Overhead Slam
