A lot of coaches would tell you that Nordics are the gold standard for hamstring health.
I don’t think they are a bad exercise. I have no issue with the exercise.
But aren’t most hamstring strains single leg in nature?
Then does in make sense that our go-to exercise(s) would be bilateral?
I’m not sure that makes a ton of sense.
I think that if we want to do everything we can to keep hamstrings healthy it isn’t as simple as one exercises. A heavy dose and combination of max effort sprinting, 1-Leg RDL’s and loaded hip extension (Sled March) are all musts IMO.
