Overcoming Isometrics for Power Development

Pairing an Overcoming Isometric prior to a similar dynamic movement is a great way to stimulate the nervous system to produce more power output. It’s also a great way to slightly deload from traditional strength training towards the end of the season/playoffs while trying to peak power output.
