Today is Day 2️⃣5️⃣ of #30daysofcore where I’ll share some tips and thoughts on core work for the next 30 days.
Most all of the athletes we work with will get use to the Chest Pass progression for various reasons;
➡️ helps to develop power in the pressing muscles
➡️ helps to transfer the strength gained from pushing/pressing exercises into usable power in sport
➡️ helps develop overall core power
Our progression goes from kneeling ➡️ standing (no video) ➡️ stepping ➡️ sprinter start.
We will typically perform 2-3 sets of 8-10 reps, depending on the time of the year.
