The Front Plank immediately becomes more of an Anti-Rotation exercise whenever an arm or a leg moves from the stable position.
Which is why the Dynamic Plank progression is another staple in our programming. Like the Front Plank progression, many people would think that this progression is too easy or that they are too advanced, but you will be shocked with the amount of people that will struggle with a simple Plank Reach.
The Dynamic Plank progression looks something like this;
1️⃣ Reach & Touch Plank
2️⃣ Clock Plank
3️⃣ Dumbbell Plank Row Hold
4️⃣ Dumbbell Plank Row
5️⃣ Kettlebell Drag
Don’t overlook this progression or jump right the the Kettlebell Drag because you think you or your clients can handle it. Build the foundation and earn the more advanced progressions.
