Can You Decelerate?

If an athlete can’t perform a proper 1-leg linear hurdle hop, 1-leg medial/lateral hops and/or 1-leg squats in a controlled environment, do we think they’ll be able to throw on the brakes or change direction when they are moving at full speed in a more chaotic environment?

Probably not.
