My Favorite Lower Body Exercises

🗣 Most athletes could benefit from having a stronger lower half.

Here are my Top 5 Lower Body Strength Exercises 👇

1️⃣ Trap Bar Deadlift: Our go-to bilateral lower body lift. Great for overall lower body strength.

2️⃣ Sled March: A great hip extension exercise that trains strength in a horizontal manner, something that you don’t get a lot of in the weight room.

3️⃣ Split Squat: Life and sport is spent on one leg…and your training should reflect that. Lot’s of variations of the Split Squat, with the RFE version being my favorite.

4️⃣ SLDL: My favorite posterior chain movement, one that trains the glutei and hamstrings together in a functional way, very similar to running. Tough to learn, but one of the best.

5️⃣ 1-Leg Squat: On a bench/box or to a bench/box, this is a great way to challenge the stabilizers in a knee dominant manner. Very challenging and tough even at bodyweight.
