A Pressing Variation Most All Adults Should Be Doing

The 1-Dumbbell Floor Press (and other Floor Press variations) is an exercise that you will see us using from time to time with our adult clients.

The biggest reasons we use the exercise is due to shoulder mobility, or more specifically the lack of shoulder mobility that we see in our adult populations.

The simple act of lying on the floor decreases the range of motion which leads to much less mobility demand. 

As a result, we can get some solid pressing strength in while decreasing the stress and strain on the shoulder.
