Monday Musings

Happy Monday and I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Like every Monday, here are a few thoughts bouncing around in my head after a week of reading, podcasts, cruising social media and any other continuing ed. Enjoy!

hello monday

  1. Recently I have been listening to Ray Dalio’s ‘Principles’ on my commute. One, its an awesome listen with a ton of great thoughts from Ray. Two, Ray had this thought that I feel applies to the world of strength and conditioning. Ray said, “Most people fight seeing what’s true when it’s not what they want to be.” Thats strength and conditioning in a nutshell.
  2. When making plans, think big. When making progress, think small. – James Clear
  3. Quality coaching begins and ends with relationships.
  4. I’ve been watching a little bit of both the NBA and NHL playoffs since both the Celtics and Bruins are involved. Without a shadow of a doubt, in my opinion, the NHL playoffs is a far better product then the NBA playoffs. Every NHL playoff game is must watch.
