The Best Dead Bug Variation?

Dead Bugs have become one of my favorite ‘lower level’ anti-extension core exercises because you have gravity on your side, making it a little easier to maintain proper positioning when compared to more difficult anti-extension exercises like a rollout or body saw.

The issue I find a lot with Dead Bugs is that people/athletes comment that they don’t feel their core doing anything and think that they are a waste of time. Which is why the Stability Ball Dead Bug has become one of my favorite dead bug variations as you really feel your core working as you create tension into the Stability Ball with your arms and legs, while getting all the standard benefits from a Dead Bug.
